Many of the questions above are a burden for a business analyst who worked at a company. Load highly weight puts on their shoulders. Companies rely on the intuition of a business analyst in doing each project company. Expectations of the company are very big against the business analyst. Because the company has to pay expensively for the position and their work. Many business analysts are not ready to risk a failure that they may accomplish in running project. How can, so that a business analyst overcome their failures?
The key is how to instill awareness to every department that the success of a project becomes the shared responsibility. Do not let the department or unit in an effort to claim success of their project but put the blame and the failure of the project to business analysts.
Business analyst acts as a liaison between departments and top management, business analyst must gather data from all persons involved in the project. When someone feels they do not want to be a team member, will cause emergence of disturbances in the project scheme. Each team should receive the delegation of duties and responsibilities of each. Team members who think they know what the end result and hurried to meet these goals without going through any existing phases, will find that they made a mistake. But there are times when top management did the same, take a shortcut. They are reluctant to see the big picture and all the necessary complexity, that push them jump directly to the final result. This will only lead to failure of a project.
The second key is communication as a determinant of success. Business analyst as head of the project should create a team that can work together as a team not individuals. Business Analyst like children who play the puzzle, he must take all pieces of the puzzle and put together in a project scheme so that all pieces can be arranged properly and the end result is success.
The company employs a business analyst to determine what should be done to complete the task or particular project. Every aspect of the company should be explored and analyzed in order to prepare a project proposal to be implemented. The scope of the project will determine what actions are possible and the ones that impossible performed. Each member of the team as well as relevant departments involved should be responsible and work together until every step the project can be done to improve the company. When all working in accordance of their respective duties and whenever team members can coordinate with one another to implement a main goal. It is supposed to run the project in accordance with the plan.
However if in the end everything fell apart and failed, the project failed to achieve what has been established earlier, what happened? All fingers pointed to the business analyst and blame him. That is the largest error undertaken by the company and it is just shown that the company deserves to fail.
